Jain Tinted  Watercolour Paper is available in the following five colors: blue, cream, eggshell, grey, and oatmeal., because watercolor paint is transparent the color of the paper is a very important part of the painting. The color of the ground, even different shades of white, will affect everything on top of it, both the painted and unpainted areas. The artist can substantially alter the mood and atmosphere of the painting by using colored paper. These tinted papers are worth experimentation.

This paper is also a good drawing paper and is used for a wide range of techniques.
